Reiki is a system of self development that brings you closer to understanding and experiencing your natural being. What is Reiki
There are many types of Reiki, from the original Japanese to the more modern approach of Natural Reiki and many, many styles in between.
As we have explored and taught Reiki over the years we have seen the true benefits of keeping these ideas as an integral part of our lives and we have altered our lives dramatically anf fantactically in all areas. We offer Reiki to you in a modern format that brings together the strong basis of the original Reiki system in a modern and evolved way.
Although our approach can be regarded as 'modern' with no unnecessary ritual which has evolved from Traditional Reiki, it is actually very close to the original ideas that Mikao Usui explored. You can see our ideas in our new Reiki Book ,The Truth about Reiki.
The basic ideas of Reiki are:
1. Everything is energy
2. We have the power to heal by nature
3. We create our own experience through our actions and thoughts
4. Knowing who we are is key to creating happiness
5. We are immortal by nature
